What’s the difference between 3-roll and 4-roll plate bending machines?

A 3-roll (pyramid) machine uses two motorised bottom rolls and one top roll; a 4-roll adds a fourth roll for easier pre-bending, faster material squaring and higher repeatability, especially with CNC.

Do you supply section/angle rolls as well as plate rolls?

Yes. We supply plate rolls and section/angle rolls for flats, angle, box, RHS/SHS and profiles, with tooling to suit typical sections.

Can these machines pre-bend and form cones?

Pre-bending is available on suitable models, and cone-bending devices can be specified to produce tapered cylinders and cones.

What control options are available?

Manual and NC/CNC controls are available. CNC allows storage of programs for repeat jobs, automatic sequencing and improved accuracy.
