Sheet Metal Rolling, Model 8344 is suitable for small to medium production of: tubes, elliptical shapes, variable radii, generally demanding rolling applications.
8344 designed with 3 lower rolls all mounted in a swivelling cassette, which is also height adjustable, enables the rolling of complex shapes/ profiles in one single automated cycle.
Additionally the 3 roll swivelling cassette is exchangeable, for an alternative size cassette, this applies to the machines originally supplied with 70,80,90 mm diameter rolls
designed to meet the requirements for longer sheet metal rolls , with tight radius rolling, with fully automated rolling, that is controlled with CNC.
8344 Construction: A welded steel frame and cast guides provide the necessary rigidity required throughout the rolling process, the design with 3 rolls pre-bending, bottom and bending roll mounted independently in separate guides,
enables high productivity and easy adjustment of the rolls. The top roll is mounted above the middle roll making this machine a 4 roll machine, with symmetrically placed rolls.
To control the rolling result , over the working length of the machine, i.e. roll deflection, the machine can be ‘Optionally’ equipped with adjustable hydraulic crowning supports for the lower roll.
This roll deflection function is performed by three support blocks with four pressure bearings, the required roll crowning effect is variable, adjusted via a hand pump.
All 4 rolls are driven the top & bottom rolls give a positive grip on material whilst rolling, thus preventing scratches on easily damaged sheets from slipping rolls.
The positional movement of the 3 lower rolls is performed by lead screws. The 4 roll system eliminates the need for any intermediate handling of the sheet between pre-bending and final bending
this then allows for high repetition accuracy as well as rapid and rational production.
When the sheet metal material rolling is finished, the lock clamp on the right-hand side opens to allow the removal of the rolled profile. Please Note* This function can be eliminated in the program.
As standard the 8344 machine is delivered:
With crowned & hardened and ground rolls,
The standard motor is: 400V 3-phase and with 24V control voltage.
CNC control Capacity: to store 200 rolling programs in internal memory , plus nearly unlimited by attaching an external USB flash drive.

It’s a CNC sheet-metal rolling machine for tubes, elliptical shapes and variable radii, suited to small-to-medium production.
Typical working lengths are 1,000–2,040 mm with material thickness from 0.8–3.0 mm (application dependent).
Yes. The top roll sits above the middle roll and all four rolls are driven for positive grip and mark-free rolling.
Three lower rolls are mounted in a height-adjustable swivelling cassette so complex profiles can be rolled in a single automated cycle.
Yes. The cassette is exchangeable, with options for 70, 80 or 90 mm roll diameters (model dependent).
Yes. Pre-bending of the longitudinal edge and the final roll are completed in one automated CNC cycle.
Crowned, hardened and ground rolls with optional hydraulic crowning supports counter roll deflection across the working length.
Standard supply is 400 V three-phase with 24 V control. The CNC stores around 200 programs and supports USB backup.
Yes. Programmable axes, section-based programs with bending values and interpolation during feed allow tight radii and variable shapes.
A right-hand lock clamp opens for part release; this behaviour can be disabled in the program if required.
Adjustable crowning support, chromium-plated or Adiprene/grooved rolls, stacking tables, programmable support arm, extra safety, in-feed/out-feed systems and full cell automation.
