SHEETMETAL ROLLS

Sheetmetal Rolls Model 8268 is suitable for small to medium production of: tubes, elliptical shapes, variable radii, generally demanding rolling applications.
8268 designed to meet the requirements for longer sheet metal rolls , with tight radius rolling, with fully automated rolling, that is controlled with CNC.

8268 Construction: A welded steel frame and cast guides provide the necessary rigidity required throughout the rolling process, the design with 3 rolls pre-bending, bottom and bending roll mounted independently in separate guides,
enables high productivity and easy adjustment of the rolls. The top roll is mounted above the middle roll making this machine a 4 roll machine, with symmetrically placed rolls.

To control the rolling result , over the working length of the machine, i.e. roll deflection, the machine can be ‘Optionally’ equipped with hydraulic crowning supports for the lower roll.
This roll deflection function is performed by three support blocks with four pressure bearings, the required roll crowning effect is variable, adjusted via a hand pump.

All 4 rolls are driven the top & bottom rolls give a positive grip on material whilst rolling, thus preventing scratches on easily damaged sheets from slipping rolls.
The positional movement of the 3 lower rolls is performed by lead screws. The 4 roll system eliminates the need for any intermediate handling of the sheet between pre-bending and final bending
this then allows for high repetition accuracy as well as rapid and rational production.

When the sheet metal material rolling is finished, the lock clamp on the right-hand side opens to allow the removal of the rolled profile. Please Note* This function can be eliminated in the program.

As standard the 8268 machine is delivered:
With crowned & hardened and ground rolls,
The standard motor is: 400V 3-phase and with 24V control voltage.

CNC control Capacity:  to store 200 rolling programs in internal memory , plus nearly unlimited by attaching an external USB flash drive.

General Specification:

   a) The programming of the sheet meta rolling machine is facilitated by various menus, that are available on the CNC control screen.
   b) Each program consists of sections, where each section is provided with a bending value.
   this enables easy and quick programming of the machine for different bending operations.
   c) The CNC system can operate with axis interpolation, where the rolls are adjusted simultaneously within the feeding operation.
      To further simplify the programming, the control buttons are of multi-function type, whose functions are automatically changed when changing menus.
