The HSG R1 is a high-speed tube fibre laser cutting machine engineered specifically for small diameter and lightweight tube processing. With cutting capacity from Ø8mm to Ø120mm and dynamic performance up to 150m/min and 1.5G acceleration, the R1 is designed for precision fabrication environments focused on smaller sections.

Its compact tube capacity range and high dynamic motion performance make it suitable for fabrication workshops processing thin-wall and precision tube components.
The R1 is equipped with dual pneumatic chucks combined with independent servo follow-up support to maintain stable rotational cutting and high positional accuracy on smaller diameter tubes.
Highly sensitive independent servo supports provide sufficient support force during rotation cutting, improving accuracy and reducing vibration on lighter tube material.
Standard cylinder chuck jumping reduces tailing length and improves material utilisation.
Optional servo chuck jumping enhances positioning precision and cycle efficiency during displacement.
The R1 can be configured with automatic material racks capable of loading tube in approximately 20 seconds.
Racks support tube diameters from 15mm to 120mm and stock lengths from 4.8m to 6.5m, with semi-automatic one-by-one loading also available.
The R1 is available in mirrored configurations, allowing the chuck to be positioned on either the left or right side of the machine bed to optimise factory layout and production flow.
